Dr. Steven Solik is a native of Flint, Mich. He is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. He received his medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. He did his Residency at Loyola University in Chicago and his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Rush St. Luke’s Presbyterian Hospital, also in Chicago. Dr. Solik is a board-certified member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Solik is the director of clinical research at Triangle Endoscopy Research Center. He has been a principal investigator in many trials over the past 15 years. His main interests include celiac disease, gastroesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome and colon caner prevention. The field of gastroenterology is very rewarding.
